Retro Flash Block #8 - Gas Station

Retro Flash was influenced by our time spent on Route 66 while traveling through the west.  I love the old signage and the simpler times represented in mid century culture.  Retro Flash brings together some of my favorite 50's themes into one fun quilt.

This quilt features traditional applique.  If you choose to do fused applique, the templates included will work for that too. 

Gas Station is Block #8. 

Remember when all gas stations were full service?  You would not only get gas for just a few cents a gallon, but a nice service guy would wash your windows and check your oil for you!  Too young to remember that?  Seriously, it was the case!  Those were the good old days.

Gas Station is a 7 page downloadable pdf pattern which includes full instruction for this 14" x 18" block, full sized templates and embroidery stitch suggestions.
